Haum Meditation offers a variety of healing, meditation, and yoga techniques. MEDITATION TRADITIONS

A guided practice to enhance well-being physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically, spiritually, and environmentally. Meditation styles range from a variety of traditional techniques and combination of mindfulness. Mindfulness, single point of focus, breath awareness and control (pranayama), metta, vipassana, mantra and positive affirmation, qigong, guided visualization, and mind-body-soul connection are all techniques that may be invited but not limited to.

BINAURAL BEATS

Sounds that create balance within the body by inducing the brain to a chosen wave state. Theta waves are for deep relaxation and powerful healing. Delta waves will enhance deep sleep and rejuvenation. Alpha waves will create focus and reduce stress.

CHAKRA BALANCE

Providing health and balance of concentrated energy centers known as chakras to encourage and increase well-being using aromatherapy, color, music, vibration, chanting, movement, breath work, visuals, and meditation.

FIRESIDE FULL MOON YOGA & MEDITATION

On the Saturday closest to the full moon, a yoga and meditation, intention setting, fireside ceremony and tea or cacao offering will be held at Haum Meditation’s outdoor location off Sulpher Creek Road. Please bring a mug to drink from, yoga mat, lawn chair, blankets, pillow, warm clothes, journal, and/or anything to sit comfortably outside in the elements.

HAUM RECOVERY

We have all been affected by addiction and trauma in one way or another. This class is dedicated to create support around the recovery process; consisting of mindful movement exploring body awareness, guided meditation and relaxation, and mindful discussion within a supportive community.

JOURNEY WITHIN

This practice stems from the Shamanic traditions. Travel inward along your path and experience yourself from a place of compassion, kindness, non-judgement, and acceptance as you explore depth of wisdom on a personal journey.

MANTRA & THE POWER OF

POSITIVE AFFIRMATION

Experience personal power and strength with intention, positive thinking, and affirmation. Repeat mantra to help create the shift and reprogramming of old thought patterns into new healthy brain activity.

METTA

A meditation from the Zen tradition cultivating compassion, unconditional love, kindness, and gratitude for the self and others.

MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing awareness and attention to the present moment while acknowledging and accepting feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations without judgement.

PRANYAMA

Focused attention on breath awareness and control that create chosen outcomes ranging from but not limited to: focus, clarity, strength, endurance, healing, energy flow, stress reduction, and anxiety relief.

QIGONG

A peaceful form of kung fu and martial arts incorporating movement, mindfulness, and breath awareness to create moving meditation.

REIKI INFUSION

A Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing and balance within on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual. This practice utilizes the power of a positive belief system in something greater than yourself and mindful visualization.

SATSANG

Involving spiritual philosophy, music, chanting Mantra, singing Kirtan, and dancing. You are invited to bring instruments and join us for song and dance. All ages are welcome. 

SINGLE POINT OF FOCUS

Utilizing single point of focus helps to expand meditation practice on all levels. Point of focus could range from but not limited to: breath, body awareness, drawing focus either to or away from any senses and sensations, energy centers and chakras, fire gazing within a flame, or any object.

SOUND BATH

Using vibrations of sound to create frequencies within the self that encourage healing, rejuvenation, balance, focus, and peace as the music washes through layers of the mind, body, and soul creating a cleansing effect while experiencing mindfulness to create more joy, happiness, contentment, and peace in our everyday life. Crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, Koshi chimes, drums, bells, and other harmonious instruments are used.

THETA HEALING

Theta Healing is a process of healing via meditation experiencing theta level brain waves. Theta Healing is a modality that is custom based per individual that allows the practitioner to release and continue towards healing of deeply rooted physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual suffering enhancing life towards optimal level.

TRANSFORMATIONAL BREATHWORK

A conscious powerful breathing technique to create a deep cleansing and purification effect over the entire body creating a powerful release of traumas, suffering, patterns, and programing keeping you from optimal life experience.

VIPASSANA

One of the basics of all traditions of Buddhist meditation. Vipassana, “special seeing” and “insight”, is the practice of continued close attention to sensation through which one ultimately sees the true nature of existence. Vipassana is a slow and steady process to self-discovery.

YOGA NIDRA

An ancient practice of yoga that systematically releases stress through deep relaxation and guided meditation that is beneficial on physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual levels. This practice is a non-movement form of guided meditation.


 
 

YOGA STYLES

A mind, body, and soul connection inviting physical movement, mindfulness, and breath awareness to help enhance well-being for the entire self to live fully. All levels of experience welcome and invited to practice non-judgement of themself and others.

A’PRES

A'pres Yoga is designed to stretch, strengthen, release, and relax muscles from winter activities. Join us to keep those muscle groups rejuvenated and strong all winter long.

FLOW

Flow through movement exploring fluid motion with rhythm of the breath. Experience intelligence of mind-body awareness and connection within a meditative state throughout this practice.

HATHA (FIRE)

An advanced practice designed to build strength and stamina to move through blockages and barriers. This practice encourages motivation and drive to experience growth on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

HATHA (MOON)

A practice that emphasizes a lengthening of the exhalation to utilize our parasympathetic nervous system, (our rest and digest system that decreases stress and increases healing qualities), to work through agitation of the mind and body.

HATHA (SUN)

Energizing on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual.

HATHA (WATER)

Flow through movement exploring fluid motion with rhythm of the breath. Experience intelligence of mind-body awareness and connection within a meditative state throughout this practice.

KUNDALINI KRIYA

The practice of awakening energy within to enhance well-being. This class offers pranayama, movement, and chanting.

PAWANMUKTASANA

Movement and breath work to release air and energy blockages to create a healthy flow of energy throughout the entire body. This helps to create drive, motivation, inspiration and allows energy to be used for focus, determination, and strength.

REJUVENATE

A combination of yoga and meditation to enhance deep relaxation and rejuvenation.

RESTORATIVE

Using props to support a deep sense of relaxation and rejuvenation within each pose. Poses are held for a longer period of time to enhance a deep release within the connective tissue.

SIVANANDA

A traditional yoga practice that supports spine and inner organ health.

STAND UP PADDLE BOARD YOGA, (SUPBY)

Enjoy a guided playful and fun guided paddle board yoga session and free time on the water at inside year round at Red Sands Hotel & Spa or outside June-September at Sand Creek Homestead in Torrey, Utah. All levels of expertise welcome and invited to come play in a non-judgemental environment.

STRENGH & BALANCE

With core connection, focus, balance, and strength you will create an inner warrior that can experience life operating at optimal potential. Find strength within that radiates out.

YIN

A slow paced style of yoga holding poses for a longer period of time while finding focus within. Thus creating a deep release within the fascia tissue enhancing flexibility, mental focus, and emotional balance.
